Norfolk VA Senior Photos - Currituck County High School Senior Portraits

It's been quite awhile since we've shared a video here on our site, so I thought this might be a good time to do so. I absolutely adored Sara's gallery.  We scheduled sessions for downtown Norfolk, including Starbucks (this was my first request for a session at Starbucks!), the Outer Banks, and of course the studio.  Sara had such variety in her imagery, from nighttime in the urban city to a soft, flowing tulle skirt on the beach!  I had difficulty culling her images because of this variety, and while the gallery we presented was quite large, Sara and her mom, Sally, did a fantastic job with selecting their images...and we had a great time doing it!  :)I loved every moment working with this sweet girl and her mom!  We began their selection and ordering appointment with the following video. Be sure to view in HD!  Please note most images have NOT been retouched.  (We of course retouch all images purchased.)  ;) I met Sara when I spoke with the yearbook staff at Currituck County High School in the spring of 2018.  Sara was a junior at the time, and this year she is serving as the head editor of the yearbook.  I'm so excited for her and love hearing her talk with such passion about the yearbook!  I can't wait to see it!  She will be studying communications following graduation, and I know she has a bright ...

Back in March, Ryan, a soccer player for Currituck County High School, attended the Currituck Chamber of Commerce's Business Expo with his parents.  While there, they saw our work in our booth and, knowing Ryan would need senior portraits this year, bid on our donation to the silent auction.  And they won!  I enjoyed meeting them at the expo and looked forward to working with them.  We had the design consultation with Ryan's mom, Susan, in April and scheduled his session for this fall.  They wanted a location with water as they enjoy boating, and of course they wanted to incorporate Ryan's love of soccer.  We finally scheduled Ryan's session for the end of September, and I was thrilled when Susan chose a location I suggested with no questions.  I had a great time with Ryan, Susan, and Ryan's father, Sid.  Sid was an excellent assistant!  I love when both mom and dad come to their senior's session! I get to put them to work.  LOL  It is nice to have extra hands - we utilized off camera lighting in every single image for this session, even "creating the sun" for some, something I've wanted to do for some time now.  Those who are familiar with the CCHS soccer field will know that the sun doesn't hit it quite how we created it for these images.  The field was in fact in complete shadow by the time we got ...

The super sweet and beautiful Blechacz family vacationed here in the Outer Banks a few weeks ago. It had been a couple of years since their last visit, and Bethany was looking to update their family portraits.  You can find their sneak peek here. When they last visited, Bethany and Phil had just begun the process of adopting their oldest son from China.  These are their first beach portraits as a family of eight.  Enjoy their video!  (Be sure to view in HD!)  :) We are so honored that Bethany chose us to document their family once again!  We had such a lovely time and hope they did as well.  We hope to see you again soon, Blechacz family!
